About Daily To Do

Time management has become a "buzz phrase" in recent years.  We have, more and more, been feeling trapped by the 24-hour day, and trapped by the fact that we need to get 6 hours of sleep each night.  As each day winds down, you look back and ask, 'Did I accomplish everything I needed to?'

If you're like me, at the end of the day, when you're scrambling to finish up your work, you write down a couple notes for the next day.  These are things that you may not have completed, or additional thoughts that you want to dwell on the following day.

As an internet services provider, I have a number of tasks that must be performed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.  Daily tasks include adding content to my sites, monitoring servers, and promoting the websites.  Weekly, I monitor web site traffic and take appropriate actions.  And finally, on a monthly basis, I backup my servers and send out invoices.  I would consider my task list moderate, compared to others who may have 10 to 20 things that need to be completed each and every day.

I came to realize that there were days where I would either forget to complete one of the tasks, or simply blow it off and hope it gets done the next day.  I knew I needed a solution to manage my tasks, but the only thing I could find on the web were generic to-do lists, nothing that would manage my daily, weekly, or monthly tasks.  Being a website developer, I decided to create my own solution - DailyToDo.net.

DailyToDo.net gives you the ability to create a daily, weekly, or monthly to do list, and check items off as their completed.  When the day, week, or month is coming to a close, I see those empty check boxes staring me in the face and something inside me just wants to see all those boxes checked!

After having a great deal of success in completing my tasks, I've decided to open the site up to others and allow free registration and use.   In the interest of keeping things simple, the sign up process only requires your first name, a user name and a password.  You can feel more secure knowing that you didn't give your e-mail address or last name to yet another website.

I hope you find DailyToDo.net useful.  I've provided a contact form to offer any suggestions you may have to improve the site, or just to write us and say that your life is a little bit easier to manage now!
